Martin Luther King Park
Redding Rotary has adopted Martin Luther King Park. Once a quarter or as needed we engage in some sort of improvement on the property in partnership with the City of Redding.
Our first project was the reclamation of a garden area next to the main building. Our second was a full landscaping job to improve the look and comfort of a plot adjacent to the main building. Our third and most ambitious project was the construction of a new play structure.
Rotarians bring more than strong backs and willing hands. We bring to bear on any project a combination of skills drawn from careers ranging from construction to management to all sorts of service. We are truly greater than the sum of our parts and working together can continue to do great things for our community.
