Instructions for submitting material for the Spillway

1. Pictures can be sent by regular email. They are sent as an attachment. The picture format should be jpg to keep the size of the file manageable. With that in mind try to make the picture just under 1 MB for singles or just over 500 KB for two. If you have more than two pictures, send several emails with two pictures each.

2.  To submit a written story do the following. Most will use Microsoft Word or Microsoft Works to create the story. This would also work with Notepad or Wordpad. Once the story is created, in the top menu under edit use the drop down to find select all. Click on select all. This should highlight all of your written text. (You can do the same thing with your mouse to highlight all the text you have written). Put your cursor over the highlighted area and right click. Select copy. Go to the text field below and with your cursor in the text area right click again. Select paste and behold, your story will appear. You can make corrections and even add new data if you wish. You could also write your entire story in this area if you wish.

3. When finished click submit at the bottom and the story will be sent to the Spillway staff for consideration.
