Donations to Charitable Foundations

The Charitable Foundation is a vehicle by which Redding Rotary can serve our community in the present and in perpetuity to support education, fund projects for betterment of the Redding area, and provide local humanitarian service.  The Foundation has been in existence since July 1, 1993.   Contact the Community Service Directors for more details.  Contributors are recognized as follows:

 sham3.gif (1101 bytes)  J.Ronan Shannon Fellow Carter Member (Charter Shan Fellow):  $1,000 in contributions and/or direct donations to the Foundation between July 1, 1993 and June, 30 1998 in addition to being a Paul Harris Fellow.  Redding Rotarians in this group are identified by the letters C/SHAN under their photo.

 sham3.gif (1101 bytes) Shan Fellow:  $1000 in contributions, including any recognition over $100 per year, in addition to being a Paul Harris Fellow.  Commenced July 1, 1998.

  sham3.gif (1101 bytes)   Shan Benefactor:  Someone who informs The Rotary Club of Redding Charitable Foundation that he or she has made provisions in a will, insurance bequest, or other estate plan, or an outright gift of $1,000 or more to the Endowment Fund.  The contributions will not be spent.  The earnings will support the various programs of the Rotary Club of Redding Charitable Foundation.

of Rotary International

The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International is a special tool for for international service and working together across international borders to build a better, more peaceful world.  The mission of the Rotary Foundation is to support the efforts of Rotary International to achieve world understanding and peace through international humanitarian, educational, and cultural exchange programs. Contact the director of International Service in our club for more details.  Contributors are recognized in the following ways:

Paul Harris Sustaining Member:   Contribution of minimum of $100, with intention of contributing $1,000.

Paul Harris Fellow:  Contribution of $1,000 - Redding Rotarians in this group are identified by the letters PHF under their photos in the directory.

Multiple Paul Harris Fellow:  Additional contributions of $1,000 or more.
